Engaging Voices Through Social Media In Lebanon

MSI’s USAID-funded Promoting Active Citizen Engagement (PACE) Chief of Party Hérve de Baillenx sat down with us to talk about this engaging project. He talks about the exceptional case of Lebanon in the region, the role of civil society, and the various successful tools the project is using.

By using various tools such as social media and “the social entrepreneur incubator,” PACE allows civil society movements to assess what successfully works or not within a specific context. This tool helps to pave the way for further involvement of NGOs and advocacy groups.

We were also able to talk with him in our MSI Development Podcast series, where he talks about how the conflict in Syria has affected Lebanon and the objectives of the project:
