Helping to Improve the Livelihoods of People Around the Globe (HELP) Commission
The HELP Commission, originally proposed by Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), proposed a series of comprehensive foreign aid reform proposals to the President, Congress and Secretary of State in December 2007. The Commission worked for twenty-three months interviewing and consulting with foreign aid experts and conducting nearly 20 overseas site visits. Providing short-term technical assistance, MSI assisted in the report's roll out by preparing a strategic communication plan, outreach matrix for various targeted audiences, talking points, speeches and various items for the roll out event. The report was released at an event at Brookings and has received favorable media coverage, including the Washington Post.
