 MSI has been contracted by USAID/Pakistan to undertake a comprehensive evaluation of its Economic Growth (EG) Portfolio to assess the relevance, impact, effectiveness, and sustainability of its programs and to inform the development of a new five-year strategy using innovative principles and practices to incorporating a "managing for results" approach to the portfolio.

Pakistan Economic Growth Evaluation and Design (PEGED) Started at the end of 2007, this comprehensive effort to enhance managing for results in the Economic Growth (EG) sector at USAID/Pakistan will entail evaluations of eight existing USAID EG Projects, the design of two new EG activities in the area of women’s economic empowerment and competitiveness, and the potential for establishment and operation of an EG Results Management Support Unit to support USAID/Pakistan’s EG office.
