Helping Make the MCC Work Smarter

We support MCC’s investment in its own human capital

We work with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), one of the U.S. government’s premier foreign aid agencies, to become a more efficient and flexible organization.

Guided by its strategic planning document, MCC requested assistance to meet organizational and personnel challenges. While it has achieved many development goals over the last decade and a half, such as strengthening community-driven development in the Philippines and building roads and bridges in El Salvador to increase access to markets, its investment in human capital has lagged. MCC staff need both strong technical backgrounds leadership, conflict management and emotional intelligence skills to succeed.

We provide training on professional development skills ranging from personal effectiveness to supervision, as well as leadership and project management. We have designed and developed more than a dozen professional development courses and provided facilitation services. Our support has also included coaching for senior leadership.

Hundreds of MCC staff are now equipped with the technical background and the interpersonal know how to work more efficiently. With this solid investment in human capital, the organization will be able to continue affecting change and reaching its development goals around the world.
