Shelley Wieck is a senior rule of law advisor and democracy and governance specialist who has designed, managed and implemented institutional development and capacity-building programs in the areas of justice sector reform, access to justice, judicial and legal professional training, legal education, local governance, civil society advocacy and anti-corruption in post-conflict and transitioning countries. Her countries of focus have included Lebanon, Ukraine, Timor Leste, Serbia and the Czech Republic. Shelley currently serves as a technical director for a suite of local governance and civil society organization capacity-building projects in Lebanon, as well as provides analytical and assessment services, strategic planning, and business development for rule of law and democracy and governance programs. She holds a law degree from the University of South Dakota.
