Brian Calhoon is a technical manager in the Democracy and Governance Analytics and Training sub-service area. He has a decade of experience in business development, field projects and analytic work spanning East and West Africa, the Caribbean and the Caucasus. He has developed analytic products on a range of topics, including organizational development, anti-corruption and organized crime. In addition, he develops, implements and advises project monitoring and evaluation. Within MSI, he encourages peer-to-peer learning and promotes improved facilitation skills. He holds bachelors’ degrees in history and French from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and a master’s degree in international affairs from American University’s School of International Service in Washington, D.C.
