Daniel Dobrovoljec

Expertise:

Daniel Dobrovoljec is the Chief of Party (COP) on the USAID-funded Promoting Rule of Law Activity (PROLA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). For the last 15 years, Daniel Dobrovoljec has focused on rule of law and judicial reform, CVE, and community resilience in Africa (Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Mauritania, Morocco, and Niger). From 2013-2018, Daniel led the USAID-funded ProJustice project in Côte d’Ivoire, and from 2009-2013, he was the COP of the USAID-funded ProJustice project in DRC.

Over his career, Daniel has developed expertise in court administration and case management, human rights protection, access to justice, and capacity building of judicial actors. Born in Guinea-Conakry and raised in Côte d’Ivoire, Daniel holds a master’s degree in political science and international relations from la Sorbonne University and has more than thirty years of field experience for USAID, the UN, and the EU.
