Hassan Baroudy

Hassan Baroudy is chief of party for USAID’s Governance Integration for Stabilization and Resilience in the Middle East and North Africa (GISR MENA) task order, and a technical director in the Peacebuilding & Governance practice area. He brings more than 25 years of experience managing and providing technical oversight to MSI headquarters and at local levels in democracy & governance, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), and civil society capcity strengthening as well as in building resilience in conflict and post-conflict countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Previously, Hassan served as COP on six USAID-funded programs (Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Morocco) leading governance and stabilization related projects and when he worked with USAID directly, he was certified as a COR/AOR and Backstop 76-Crisis, Stabilization and Governance officer. Hassan holds an M.A. in International Relations/Conflict Management and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Hassan is a former Peace Corps volunteer having served in Niger, West Africa (1993-1996).
