Deputy Chief of Party, Operations
Molly McFarland is an international development professional with 8 years of experience managing development projects, both in the field and domestically as headquarters-based support staff. Molly currently serves as Deputy Chief of Party, Operations, for USAID’s DRC Solutions for Peace and Recovery (SPR) project. In this role, she manages financial, administrative, compliance and logistical operations for the 5-year conflict mitigation and social cohesion program implemented in North and South Kivu, DRC. Previously, she worked as a senior project manager at MSI coordinating the SPR project from Washington, D.C., and she also served as a project manager overseeing the financial and contractual obligations for USAID and OFDA-funded projects across Africa, including in DRC, Mali and Sudan. Molly started her development career in the Peace Corps as an education volunteer in Western China. She holds a master of science in international development management from American University’s School of International Service and a bachelor of arts in modern language and literature from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
