Betsy Bury is co-Practice Area Lead for MSI’s Strategy, Evaluation and Analysis service area. She is a monitoring and evaluation specialist with more than 25 years of experience designing and implementing performance monitoring systems and overseeing complex evaluations. Betsy also specializes in creating and delivering training in results-based management. She has spearheaded the development of monitoring and evaluation systems for international programs sponsored by USAID, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Labor. Other clients have included the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, Microsoft and the State of Massachusetts. She has taught performance management courses for the University of Massachusetts, Boston and the Fels School at the University of Pennsylvania. Betsy holds a degree in anthropology and psychology from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in regional economic development planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
