Lamar Cravens

Lamar Cravens is the chief of party of the USAID/Egypt Economic Courts Activity (ECA). Lamar has 25 years of experience in international development. He has led complex, multi-partner projects in the Former Soviet Union, Asia & the Middle East. His long-term residence assignments include the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia and Yemen, with short-term assignments in Latvia, Libya, Nigeria and the Ukraine. He is a lawyer and an academic and holds an LLM in International & Comparative Law, a Juris Doctorate, and a Master’s Degree in Middle Eastern Studies. In addition to his native English, he speaks fluent Russian and conversational Standard Arabic.
